FESTIVAL DIRECTOR
Juliet
C. Mallari was the Taboan 2012 Festival Director. In addition to being a
former NCLA coordinator for Central Luzon and a former University of the
Philippines Pampanga director, she has a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and is
a specialist in Kapampangan literature. She is also a coffee-table book writer,
a biographer, a Pampanga cultural worker, and an adviser of a Kapampangan
writers’ group.
DEPUTY FESTIVAL DIRECTOR
Tec Sanchez-Tolosa is a
Kapampangan language advocate, medical and creative writer, poet and book
author. A Doctor of Medicine by education and dermatologist by specialty, she
is a Fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society and maintains private
practice in Pampanga and Quezon City. Awarded as a Poet Laureate of the
Kapampangan Language, Tec has been published in various anthologies. A member of Dinsulan and Parnasong
Kapampangan, she is also an online columnist for electronic kabalen
(eksite.com).
HEAD OF THE SECRETARIAT
A holder of Master of Education in
Library Science from the Philippine Normal University, Manila, Roilingel P.
Calilung is presently taking up his Doctor of Philosophy in Educational
Management. His book with other two authors titled, "Diwang Kayanakan
Kawatasan Kapampangan" is Finalist in the National Book Awards 2013
(Poetry, Kapampangan Language Category).
OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
Jose Adrian M. Dayrit also known as
Ryan is a B.S. Biology graduate from Angeles University Foundation. Known for
his debating and acting skills in college, Ryan dealt more with the corporate
world and community development. He spent 9 years in San Miguel Corporation as
an account specialist and sales supervisor, an educator at Angeles University
Foundation and project coordinator of a USAID funded project. At present, Ryan
is in business and living his dream of becoming a lawyer. He will graduate with
a Bachelor of Laws degree at Harvardian Colleges in San Fernando, Pampanga this
March.
PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Cecile S. Yumul is an award-winning
educator and journalist in both print and broadcast. In addition to having
taught at Holy Angel University for almost two decades, she has been organizing
workshops and clinics. Her fields of expertise include public-speaking, drama,
sports, first aid, and environmental advocacy, and her achievements have been
recognized by such institutions as the Manila Broadcasting Company and
Philippine National Red Cross. Cecil Yumul’s works in Kapampangan can be
accessed in Electronic Kabalen: (http://eKsite.com). At present she is the
anchorwoman of KASAMA KA SA 10 K, aired over GV Broadcasting System, 792 Khz.
DOCUMENTATION ASSISTANT
Meryll C. Mallari earned her Bachelor’s
Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of the Philippines,
Diliman. She is currently an M.A in Interior Design student in the same
university.
BOOK FAIR COORDINATOR
Reggie O. Cruz is currently College
Instructor of College of Arts, Sciences and Education of Holy Angel University
Teaching Filipino subjects. a former Seminarian of Salesians of Don Bosco and
Missionary Society of Saint Columban a former Filipino and Values Education
High School Teacher of Jose C. Feliciano College Foundation, a former Public
School Teacher at Mabalacat Community High School. He earned his Bachelor
degree in Secondary Education Major in Filipino at Holy Angel University,
Angeles City and his Master of Arts in Education Major in Filipino at Angeles
University Foundation this year 2013. He now pursues his Doctor of Education
Major in Educational Management at Tarlac State University.
MEDIA COORDINATOR
Arlan Payad is a university
research coordinator who also teaches English and educational management.
His recent researches center on cross-cultural and psycho-social aspects
of learning among such respondents as university students in Seoul, South
Korea, and high school Aeta students in the mountains of Pampanga. Mr.
Payad writes column articles and poetry featured online at Electronic Kabalen (eksite.com), and co-authors textbooks and references for
high school and college students. He does socio-civic work through
Kiwanis International and the Commission on Higher Education's Regional Quality
Assessment Team for Humanities, Social Sciences, and Communication (HUSOCOM)
and Education.

Larrica Angela V. Cunanan
is currently taking Bachelor of Arts in Communication at Systems Plus College Foundation, Main Campus Pampanga. The
editor-in-chief of The Exemplar, Official Student Publication of SPCF, Supreme
Student Council officer, rotaractor and volunteer catechist. She had her
internship at PEP TV Channel 3, D’Ultimate 105.5 FM and PUNTO! Central Luzon
Newspaper.
